If you were cited for a violation and would like to speak to the Property Maintenance Official, please call the Building Department at (804) 804-3426. Our goal is to obtain voluntary compliance, and therefore most reasonable requests for extra time or for referrals for special assistance are granted, whenever possible.

To be fair to all parties involved, the Property Maintenance Official is required to notify property owners of violations and provide adequate time for the violations to be abated. It may take several weeks to complete the process before the violation is corrected. During this time, we are actively pursuing correction of the violation, and we appreciate your patience.
