Board of Zoning Appeals
The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) is composed of five regular members, who are Town residents, appointed by Town Council. Members must hold no other public office; however, one may be a member of the Planning Commission. The BZA reviews and decides appeals of zoning determinations, requests for variances to zoning provisions, and special exceptions. The BZA meets when an application for an appeal, a request for a variance, or a special exception has been submitted. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and are held in Council Chambers of West Point Town Hall, located at 802 Main Street, West Point, VA 23181.
